Gear buttons go to Amazon when Amazon carries the item. The ebook is sold by the author.
The button on a gear pick goes through this site to Amazon, and that click is counted. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. The price is the same for you.
When Amazon carries the same item, the brand page is left off. A maker's page is a plain link with no tracking tag, and only when that page is a different item. This site is not paid when you buy there.
The Pflueger President reel is not listed on Amazon as that fly reel, so its name still goes to the shop. Checkout for Fly Fishing for Nerds goes to the author's listings: Leanpub — $9.74 with code NERDS25 and Gumroad — $12.99.
The gear list names common beginner pieces. It is not a paid ranking. This site does not invent reviews, reader counts, or testimonials.
Questions about ebook delivery or refunds belong with Leanpub or Gumroad, from your receipt.
